We had a great time at the Makai Club Resort and would stay here again. The location was perfect for us. We walked to Princeville Center for shopping and restaurants. It’s a short drive to Hanalei or to Anini Beach. The unit was clean and our lanai felt private. The dishwasher broke during our stay but it was fixed within 2 hours of our call. Overall a positive experience.

Great location, loved sitting out on the balcony and enjoying the lush greenery, birds and chickens. Yes, chickens. Bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. Kind staff, loved the board games, coffee and ice cold water available in the office. Free parking. Rooms were a little dated but so spacious with good AC. Convenient to have own washer and dryer with free detergent. Comfy king sized bed. We turned down the AC a few times and it gets a little musty, but so are rooms in most all-inclusive resorts. It’s the tropics. Hot tub under the stars was nice after a long day. Kauai was our favourite stay. Would book again!

When we arrived we were exhausted from 2 days of traveling from North Carolina with no sleep. I was impatient and somewhat rude. The manager (Andrew?) was kind and understanding and did everything possible to meet our needs. I love the walk-in shower with hand-held shower head. The K bed is very comfy. We are thoroughly enjoying our stay.

The room was clean and almost everything we needed was available at the office or close by. My questions were answered and someone was always available. The view of the mountains was worth it alone.

Great amenities. Pool is deep enough for jumping and they have given out mai tais and ice cream. Very fun

The location is perfect and the service was excellent. The buildings are a little dated but everything was super clean, well stocked, and very functional. Thank you!!!!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Makai Club Resort. Everything was perfect, and they have efficient systems for everything from checking in to guest requests by text to convenient amenities such as free bike rentals and beach gear rentals. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly and made it a point to regularly check in with us to make sure everything was ok, the location was wonderful, the rooms were super clean and comfortable with special touches such as a cooler to use and beach towels, the kitchen was well equipped, we surrounded by lush greenery, we were mere minutes from Hanalei, and the price was very reasonable for what we got. It was an absolute perfect home base to explore the island and we will absolutely return.

Our cottage at the Makai Club Resort was clean and spotless. We loved how clean it is and the amenities provided. Definitely worth the stay here. We also like that we’re not too far from a downtown area to eat at or grocery shop at. The food selection is great there too.
